“There is much for all of us to be excited about. In addition to the pride across the District, which positions all of us to raise our expectations of what is possible for students, we continue to focus on ensuring that all of our students have equitable access to high-quality content and rigorous curriculum. We also want to ensure that our social-emotional learning initiative incorporates student voice and adult learning. Agency, ownership, and identity will be key levers for how we can continue to develop as critical thinkers and learners.
We launched a three-year strategic plan in August of 2022. The plan outlines our district priorities and guides us in our progress as we work to fulfill our mission to provide an equitable and inclusive education that supports students holistically, providing the tools they need to thrive by partnering with families and supporting staff to meet the needs of each of our students. You can learn more about the priorities outlined in our strategic plan on our website.
My mission is driven by my belief that all students can learn when afforded the appropriate academic and social-emotional supports. Working together with the Board of Education, our teachers, administrators, support staff, families, and community, we will see our students succeed.”
